The Dublin County Board of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann is active in promoting Irish music, song and dance in County Dublin. The County Board represents all the branches in the county and works closely with these branches. It acts as a liaison between the local branches, Provincial Councils and the Ard Oifig in the organisation of Fleadheanna and other events.
DUBLIN FLEADH
The County Board helps a county branch to organize and run the Dublin Fleadh. The 2017 Dublin Fleadh was held in St Paul’s school in Walkinstown on May 16/14 and it was a huge success. The County Board would like to extend their congratulations and thanks to Cumann na bPíobairí Uilleann, Craobh Leo Rowsome and Craobh Cluain Tarbh, for their fantastic work in organising the Fleadh and the various events that preceeded the Fleadh.
